Welcome!
WELCOME to Spladdle.com! This is a blog for my rantings, ravings, and nonsense. I am passionate about Combat Sports as a fan and as someone who has been training in some combat sport since the 80s! I run a Combat Sports and Physical Culture Club called the Hematoma Gym where I do MMA for Self-Defense and All-In Wrestling for kicks.
I imagine I am obliged to tell you I am an “Ultimate Fighter” and have fought in the UFC many times, am 400-0 in street fights, have won NAGA 21 zillion times, date various female celebrities, collect PRonstars, tapped Rickson (forgot to load the Camcorder otherwise I’d have footage!) by smashing his own water bottle over his head, bench 650#s, and have yet to find a woman who can accept my fighter lifestyle.
Bullshit. None of that is true.
I am 37 years old and I have an abundance of experience and opinions and figured I would share them. That’s it. Plain and simple. Everything from drills, techniques, concepts, coaching, training, to shitty opinions that will rival the best of them. Maybe you will enjoy it, maybe you’ll want to kick me in the face. Either way feel free to comment away.
My intent w/ this Blog/Blarg is to:
Provide a platform for anyone who trains in ANY combat sport and wants to blog his training for criticism, comments, and advice!
Provide News, Event Results, and Schedules for Combat Sports Events!
Share my thoughts on current happenings in Combat Sport, including personal picks!
Provide a training resource for MMA and All-In Wrestling, particularly Wrestling in the context of MMA and Submission Grappling!
Share drilling and training methods for skill development as opposed to demonstrations of techniques out of context, which IMO is overdone!
Embarrass myself with silly ideas, wrong advice, poor grammar and spelling, and overall blogging ability!
(Did I use enough exclamation marks??!?!!)
In addition, I have posted some links to some of the best Sites and Blogs on the INtrawebs. Check out the far more talented site of Björn Friedrich to see how a Blog Site is supposed to look.
Eventually I will provide a community for discussion, news for combat sports, training, networking, and advice, etc.
Check out “Recent Posts” for current blogs, check out other members blogs under “Pages”, or click on “Training” to check out the archives to get started! If you train and want to share your training, sign up and get started!
