Rampage injury scrubs possible rematch with Griffin!
Quentin “Rampage” Jackson’s injured leg destroyed any possibility of a rematch with Forrest Griffin and a chance to win back the belt he lost to Griffin last Saturday night at UFC 86. It appears the leg kicks that Rampage received in the 2nd round had long lasting damage. The POSSIBILITY of a rematch has been moved to January 2nd. Juanito Ibarra, Rampage’s coach said about his leg:
“After the fight, he had a knot the size of a cantaloupe on his shin. I’ve never seen anything like it in all the years I’ve been in the fight game. It was ugly. The next day it went down. Today, there’s no bump at all. The doctor said he’s fine. It’s a deep bone bruise now. He’s totally fine. There’s no damage. All we’re waiting for now is the rematch.”
Talk now is about Forrest vs. Chuck Liddell, which only feeds the flames of the conspiracy theorist who have been saying since the decision that the UFC would make FAR more money with Chuck as Champion again, and for as long as Rampage is champ, Chuck will NOT be. Hmmmm…tin foil hat or no tin foil hat?

Fedor’s next 2 fights!
Fedor Emelianenko’s manager Vadim Finkelstein has stated
“Two more fights are planned for Fedor in 2008. The first one in October in the context of the next Affliction show in conjunction with M-1 Global, and the second one at New Year’s Eve in Japan.”
While no opponent’s have been named, in all likelihood he will fight one of the winners on the Affliction card of the Arlovski vs. Rothwell bout or the Barnett vs. Rizzo bout. Which would you guys like to see? I know for YEARS I have been wanting to see Josh fight Fedor.
