UFN 15 Bonuses!
$30,000 bonuses went to Alessio Sakara for KOing Joe Vedepo, and earning KO of the Night, to Nate Diaz and Josh Neer for Fight of the Night, and Wilson Gouveia for his armbar on Ryan Jansen to secure Submission of the Night. Check out the GIFs of UFN 15 on the home page.
ShoXC adds 2 fights to card for October!
On the Oct. 10 ShoXC event from Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Ind., have been added 2 fights: Mark Miller (8-3) vs. Anthony Lapsley (12-3) and Mamed Khalidov (14-3-1) vs. TUF 8 outcast Jason Guida (17-17). Also added to the card is Lyle “Fancy Pants” Beerbohm against a yet to be determined opponent.
Jason MacDonald earns 4 fight deal!
Looks like Jason’s hard work has paid off. His most recent KO over Jason Lambert at UFC 88 cemented that the kid is EXCITING to watch and can’t be ignored. Good for him.
UFC Fights for the Troops is Official!
On December 10th the UFC will be going to Fort Bragg, NC to host an event to raise money for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund. The event will air free on Spike TV. Only one confirmed fight on the card so far: Corey Hill (2-1) vs. Dale Hartt (5-1). Rich Clementi is rumored to fight as well.
Nate Quarry to fight Demian Maia @ UFC 91!
The November 15th UFC 91 card has officially added Nate Quarry vs. Demian Maia. This is just another great fight on what is turning out to be a FANTASTIC card.
Nogueira Brothers open new gym in Dallas!
The Nogueira brothers have opened a new gym in Dallas, Texas called the Octagon MMA gym headed by BJJ Black Belt and owner of Octagon MMA Greg Seal. The Nog brothers will be there for the grand opening from October 13th until the 18th. Nogueira: “We are bringing the best mixed martial arts and Brazilian jiu-jitsu training that most people in Dallas have not experienced before.
